Prior to pursuing a career in integrated sports massage, Carolyn practiced Tae Kwon Do competitively and recreationally for 10 years. Along with her experience in the combative and technical aspects of the sport of self-defense, she continually stayed active by training in swimming, track and field, tennis, etc. As a Certified Personal Trainer, and Certified Powerlifting Coach - as well as her 4-years' experience as a Student Nurse at SJSU, she has comprehensice knowledge and understanding of the human body - its capabilities and limits, as well as the understanding of injury prevention and improvement.
